Difference between Science & Spirituality

One of my friends asked me to answer in one sentence what is the difference between science and spirituality. Actually he used the term religion, but I think it is better to use spiritually, the distilled part of religion after you have removed the gross parts of rituals, superstitions etc.

My answer is the following. Science tries to explain How but spirituality tries to experience Why.

Now you tell me if I was correct.
